Technology to Support Safe and Effective Back to School Efforts

Podcast: Power over Ethernet Technology Supports Safe and Effective Back to School Initiatives

Fall is right around the corner, which means it’s almost time for kids to go back to school. However, this year will be a lot different than previous years, considering the many challenges that school boards will face due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The current global pandemic has affected each country differently, which will affect how students around the world learn during this coming school year. The United States has struggled to contain the virus compared to other countries. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is urging school districts to bring students back to the classroom this fall.

School districts globally have been busy this summer crafting in-classroom, online, and hybrid learning strategies to support students.

Zachary Smith and John Croce discuss how technology can support safe and simple back-to-school efforts to support both in-classroom and online learning models. John talks about the challenges that schools face while implementing IoT solutions, and how they can overcome them using Frost & Sullivan’s Modern LAN design principles and NVT Phybridge Power over Ethernet innovations.
