Challenge 

A New York based credit union faced a complex task: upgrading its outdated surveillance system to acquire the benefits of modern IP technology. However, the building’s three-story structure presented significant obstacles. The existing system relied on coaxial cabling that was hidden in chaseways behind plaster walls and ceilings. A complete network overhaul of the existing coax, rack space, cooling, and other supporting infrastructure would lead to high costs, prolonged downtime, and business disruption – posing challenges to the credit union’s operations. 

Solution
